I currently work in the Immunology Translational Science and Medicine group. I act as a translational science program lead for dermatology indications and lead PD assay development and patient stratification efforts to support clinical programs

- Project and team lead working on developing novel therapies for inflammatory diseases, including Celiac disease, IBD as well as rheumatology and dermatology indications. - Led and transitioned programs during and after the Takeda San Diego site closure - Lead a team of in vivo and in vitro scientists -Routinely present project strategy and data to internal stakeholders across the organization - Work with stakeholders and global project teams to support clinical and pre-clinical programs - Act as the preclinical pharmacology representative for multiple clinical stage assets - Led a team developing a cell-based biopotency assay for use in late stage development - Routinely evaluate external assets and work with academic partners to advance programs - Led the biology efforts for a diligence team, resulting in the successful in-licensing of novel therapeutic antibodies for use as ADCs in Celiac disease

• Manage a preclinical research group focusing on novel biologics for tumor immunotherapy and innate immune cells • Lead two cross-functional drug discovery project teams • Present data and strategy at meetings to internal and external stakeholders • Identify novel therapeutic targets for validation and contribute to novel, patentable technologies • Published 2 patents.

Advisor: Terri M. Laufer Thesis research on the development and regulation of follicular helper T cell and germinal center B cell responses in vivo, using transgenic mouse models. My work was focused on how MHCII- dependent interactions between Dendritic cells, CD4+ T cells and B cells influence the humoral immune response to vaccination, as well as the consequence of early T-B interactions in germinal center development.

Advisor Carl F. Ware Responsible for general lab maintenance as well as working on independent research projects. I received an undergraduate research scholarship for a project studying how the molecule HVEM influences CD4+ T cell activation through interactions with its binding partners LIGHT and BTLA.
