As a Speaker, author, mentor and workshop facilitator, I am passionate about empowering women and men with knowledge, tools and strategies to create a life of meaning, deep fulfilment and ultimately, love. Why? Because I know what it feels like to survive life; existing from a place of fear and self loathing but I also know we have the power to change our stories through changing our unique perceptions. Ultimately how we perceive ourselves - from not being pretty enough, smart enough, successful enough,etc to being simply, ENOUGH! It took me hitting 'rockbottom' eight years ago to finally launch me out of the depths of depression, anxiety and an eating disorder. I had been stuck in this place for twenty years. What I discovered is to change anything about ourselves and our realities, it begins with changing our mindsets from fear and limitation to love and abundance. The choice to change our thoughts and limiting beliefs is a gift we not only give ourselves but anyone we directly and indirectly touch - family, work, community, etc.. . It really is our birthright to be happy, and to love and be loved. The Joy Solution was a lovingly created by 2 good friends, both committed to making a difference in the lives of every person we meet. Having each had our own stories of suffering, we know the importance of support, connection, kindness and compassion when making any changes. My passion is to inspire people through speaking, facilitating workshops and mentoring, to be authentic and to truly embrace life so they can thrive. Stress is part of this world but if we can learn to live more mindfully, and from kindness and compassion rather than fear, we can not only reduce the stress and our reactions to it but enjoy our lives and truly achieve our dreams. It isn't about working harder and doing more although many have bought into this fear. By learning to 'BE' more of what makes us happy, we will achieve so, so much more.
