The Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) Project is a business transformation project that will result in redesigned business processes and the implementation of a solution for human resources, finance, and procurement. As part of the ERP Project Team, the Data Governance Lead is responsible for: • Providing management to nine Senior Data Governance Business Analysts. • Identifying and engaging Data Trustees and Stewards for all in-scope domains and parts of government. • Overseeing Data Cleansing activities including providing support and guidance to business users, supporting all reporting needs and data profiling. • Establishing data standards where appropriate, in consultation with Data Stewards. • Leading the ERP Data Governance team in the implementation of data governance program and is responsible for the day-to-day organization and management of the data governance. • Rolling out a data governance framework, with a focus on improvement of data quality and the protection of sensitive data through modifications to organization behavior policies and standards, principles, governance metrics, processes, related tools, and data architecture. • Defining indicators of performance and quality metrics and ensure compliance with data related policies, standards, roles and responsibilities, and adoption requirements. • Serving as a point of escalation for governance, data quality and protection issues and will work closely with Business Lines to improve the quality and value of core data assets, and respond to regulatory protection requirements and other duties assigned.

My responsibilities in this role included: • Leading HR Projects related to data acquisition and information sharing • Leading Data Management Initiatives • Providing oversight and expertise in Data Modeling and Database Design • Gathering business requirements from key stakeholders • Collaborating with other IT professionals to architect, design, and develop end to end business intelligence solutions based on Microsoft Power BI platform to meet the functional and non-functional requirements of the clients • Maximizing data integration and interoperability through extracting, transforming, and loading (ETL) data from various sources. • Providing technical expertise regarding the unique features and constraints of Power BI and related technologies. • Providing best practice recommendations relating to deployments and usage Design and develop dashboards and automated reports using modern Business Intelligence tools: • Creating reports and dashboards based on stakeholder requirements, using various HR data models • Incorporating advanced HR Analytics to reports and dashboards • Validating project requirements and ensuring data accuracy by leading user acceptance testing and documenting test results • Creating and maintaining data dictionaries, data catalogues, technical support documentation, and training material for dashboards and reports • Strengthening Standard Operating Practices for data management and information sharing

In this role I am responsible for the following: - applying my knowledge of healthcare data, data visualizations, and dataset building to solve challenging business problems with innovative solutions in Microsoft PowerBI. This includes querying, extracting, and analyzing raw data from multiple large and complex databases, and designing captivating report layouts. - consulting and partner with individuals at various levels of the organization to execute their reporting and visualization deliverables. This includes training and coaching users across the organization on the PowerBI tool to promote self-service reporting.

Responsible for determining best technical solutions for HR, Library and Learning services, with a primary focus on building web-based user interfaces and aligned back-end solutions that optimize business efficiencies and enhance customer satisfaction.

Providing technical expertise and guidance to the Informatics Unit, Library Services, Learning Services, and other programs as necessary to maximize service delivery and operational efficiencies.

•Provided exceptional nursing care to patients with a variety of medical and surgical diagnoses, many of whom required telemetry cardiac monitoring. •Collaborated with the interdisciplinary health team to plan, implement, and evaluate patient care in consultation with patients and their families. •Administered treatments and medications by a variety of routes while demonstrating competence with appropriate technology and equipment. •Provided thorough documentation on patients' conditions in electronic and handwritten formats according to established policies and protocols. •Developed a working knowledge of the Meditech and MedContinuum software systems.

•Participated in a literature review for an academic research project. •Provided professional, supportive troubleshooting and technical advice for office staff utilizing adept critical thinking and problem solving skills.

•Provided technical support and education to office staff and highway maintenance personnel. •Designed and published monthly newsletter and weekly IT Tips email. •Reverse engineered payroll and materials management systems using Visual Basic.NET and SQL Server. Both systems used a combination of GUI and Excel spreadsheet input to populate the database and provided GUI and Excel spreadsheet output. Gathered requirements from end-users and composed in-line and user documentation.

•Provided functional testing of a web-based software system in a geographically diverse team using computer mediated communication. •Researched, developed, and delivered training courses on a wide variety of software testing concepts. •Orientated new employees to the organization and training on the basics of software testing.

•Aided with the documentation for the development of a Data Warehouse. Responsibilities included: oBecoming familiar with Data Warehouses, Star Schema diagrams, and Sybase PowerDesigner. oArranging meetings with business owners to gather definitions of the data to be included in warehouse. oIndependently developing an executive summary of the Data Warehouse project and presenting it to the IT Services department •Tasked with the creation of an Information Services Orientation Manual for System Developers. This required meeting with various knowledge sources throughout the Information Services department. After gathering information from each of these sources I was responsible for compiling it into a fluent document.

Received a grade of A+ in all program courses 🎉 * Mapped health data across SNOMED CT, HL7 FHIR, ICD-10-CA, LOINC, and other standards to support model development. * Created and validated SNOMED CT postcoordinated expressions using the Postcoordination Browser and ECL queries. * Authored reports on SNOMED CT, HL7 v2, and IPS, analyzing terminology governance and implementation. * Designed SNOMED CT subsets and value sets using Snap2SNOMED for IPS and emergency medicine use cases. * Built FHIR patient bundles with Forge, clinFHIR, and Postman; uploaded to HAPI FHIR and validated exchange. * Created HL7 v2 immunization and diagnostic messages in 7Edit per v2.5.1 specs. * Developed SNOMED CT/LOINC-coded FHIR Questionnaires using LHC-Forms; executed $expand queries via REST APIs. * Researched Canadian and international IPS standards using CDA and FHIR.
