Lisa Tarzia

I have enjoyed more than 35 years experience in management, marketing/PR, product and service innovation, networking, problem solving and training people. My focus has been on carving out niche businesses in different sectors of the travel industry. In 2004 I travelled to South Africa with a humanitarian organisation and my eyes were opened to the plight of the poor. Since then I have managed to combine my love for Jesus, his mission on earth with a meaningful vocation. My greatest passion is building relationships with people and helping others to live out their calling. My management style is consultative and collaborative. I am very "other" focussed, be it the customer, supplier or partner. I approach everything I do with natural enthusiasm and zeal. I like to get others onboard and excited about the mission at hand. I'm a real people person and enjoy building up and engaging with people from all walks of life. I co-founded Mission Travel in February 2006. Mission Travel was a niche travel business that specialised in travel services to the aid & development sector, Christian mission teams and volunteers, as well as Holy land and Christian leisure tours. Our charter we to donate 50% of profits to mission with over $250,000 donated. In 2019 I created a new brand, Selah. Selah's mission is to create experiences for Christians to go deeper in their faith, through travel, retreats and workshops. I'm actively involved in my local church and have consistently volunteered my time and skills to a range of not for profit organisations.
