At Redwire I designed (using SolidWorks) and developed space mechanisms and control units, mainly following ECSS guidelines. I performed structural analysis using FEMAP and conducted thermal analysis in SolidWorks to ensure compliance with requirements. I also designed MGSE, assembled test setups and units, and supported all phases of testing. Tasks also included deliver documentation and presenting results to close milestones with customers, including ESA.

My thesis focused on a conjugate heat transfer analysis of ECAPS’ HPGP 22N thruster. I used Ansys Fluent for CFD and thermal simulations, MATLAB for calculations and data handling, and Siemens NX for CAD modelling. The analysis covered multiple thruster operation phases.

I designed (using NX) test setups and executed battery testing, including in-depth data analysis for performance evaluation. I also took ownership of developing a specific module component to meet technical requirements and project goals.

The aim of the student project HAMMER was to investigate the applicability of ferrofluid in space applications. As part of the Structure team, my responsibility was to design and assemble experimental setups for various tests conducted with the ferrofluid and electromagnets.

A summer job that gave me the opportunity to improve my problem-solving skills and team work. Kempinski hotels are luxury hotels that requires high standards and I had to develop skills to do an excellent job even during stress and to be flexible to help my colleagues.

A summer job where I worked as a deckhand on an expedition boat, taking care of guests and assisting the rest of the crew. It allowed me to develop skills such as working in extreme environments and being flexible in handling various tasks creatively, regardless of the challenges that arose.

WWOOFing is working on farms in exchange of food and accommodation. I worked for about 4 months on different farms where learnt a lot of different skills required on farms and to quickly adapt to new environments.

A summer job where I moved money from one place to another. I developed skills such as responsibility and to always be aware of your surroundings.

A seasonal work where I kept the basecamp tidy and helped guests with various things they needed. It was my first work abroad and I developed skills such as working in diverse teams, and to quickly see what needed to be done and act at an early stage.
