I hold a PhD from Carleton University and have recently taken up a permanent position as Instructor at Douglas College, where I am cross-appointed in the Departments of Sociology and Gender, Sexualities and Women’s Studies. I am first and foremost a devoted, passionate, and dynamic teacher and I currently teach a variety of courses, including: Introduction to Sociology, Canadian Society, Sociology of Health, and Introduction to Women’s Studies. My teaching and research draw inspiration from the students I work with, great music, the sociological classics, and engaged scholars from a variety of disciplines.
