Lisa Pomeroy, ND, FDN-P, RHP, MCS-P

Lisa Pomeroy is a traditional naturopath with extensive training in functional medicine, lab test interpretation, and gut microbiome balancing through the Kalish Institute, The Microbiome Restoration Center, The Biome Learning Center, Functional Diagnostic Nutrition (FDN), Restorative Wellness Solutions (RWS), and other organizations. She has over a decade of experience working 1-on-1 with clients, mentoring healthcare practitioners, and helping clinicians interpret functional lab tests. In addition to being a graduate of the Kalish Institute Mentorship Program, Lisa is a Certified Microbiome Analyst through Dr. Jason Hawrelak. She was part of the first-ever cohort of Kiran Krishnan's Microbiome Clinical Science Certificate program and became a certified MCS-P in February 2026. In early 2026, Lisa also started a year of mentoring under Dr. Jason Hawrelak to continue learning about shotgun metagenomics test interpretation and advanced microbiome balancing techniques, and she will be taking courses by Dr. Brad Leech and Dawn Whitten in Spring and Fall 2026 to expand her knowledge of the pediatric microbiome. Lisa is passionate about educating health practitioners on how to interpret functional lab tests and use nutritional supplements to improve the health of their clients. For the past 10 years, Lisa has worked as a clinical consultant at functional laboratories. Currently, she is a member of the Medical Education team at Diagnostic Solutions Laboratory. At DSL, Lisa does 1-on-1 clinical consults with health practitioners to help them understand their clients' test results, conducts small group meetings via Zoom, creates monthly "case study" webinars, develops presentations on microbiome-related topics for summits and events, acts as a guest instructor in educational bootcamps, and more. Besides her work for DSL, Lisa has her own consulting business, Pomeroy Institute For Functional Nutrition, through which she offers in-depth online training courses and 1-on-1 consultations for health practitioners to help them learn how to interpret functional lab tests and build effective natural protocols.
