Responsible for diverse shared services teams dedicated to increasing the success of the TD Wealth operating businesses. Accountabilities included vendor management, cost management, reporting & strategic insights, event planning and sponsorships for the Asset Management, Direct Investing, Financial Planning and Private Wealth Management businesses. Enabled business unit clients to identify 17.5% in annualized cost savings across diverse expense categories. Analyzed vendor contracts and highlighted information vital to controlling costs and boosting profitability, resulting in significant cost savings and identification of revenue enhancement opportunities.

Led western Canada expansion, exceeding asset gathering, volume growth, and FP recruitment targets. Expanded footprint. Increased partner satisfaction. Strengthened brand position in marketplace through media and sponsorship opportunities.

Led 22 retail banking TD Canada Trust branches (350 FTE) to deliver legendary client experiences and exceed sales, volume growth and client satisfaction goals.

Responsible for all non-sales activities of TD Mutual Funds. As a key member of the executive operating committee, I provided the leadership, management and vision necessary to ensure TD Mutual Funds had the product lineup that met evolving client needs, the sales programs to support advisors and the proper policies, operational controls, administrative and reporting procedures to effectively grow the business. Managed a $70B product portfolio. During tenure, business increased market share among Bank-owned competitors by 200 bps, doubled share of long-term MF sales, increased sales in retail channel by $2.5B, increased employee satisfaction by 30 bps and created 150 FTE in sales team capacity.

Directed, administered and coordinated the internal operational activities of the TD Wealth organization. Responsible for leading a team of 300 and transforming the service culture across Operations (1,100 FTE). Planned and implemented new telephony, workflow, and workforce management systems. Introduced training, tools and resources that resulted in increased quality, efficiency, improved partner satisfaction and stronger support of the sales and asset growth mandates of the operating businesses.

Award winning non-profit dedicated to enabling mathematical literacy in young people. Elected to the Board 2008 Appointed Chair 2013 Member of Governance and Fundraising Committees. Led enhancement of governance processes and strategically planned Board and Chair succession.
