Scientific Affairs Manager @ Phynova Group Ltd

About

I work in Scientific Affairs, applying botanical science, nutrition, and translational research to real-world nutraceutical innovation. As an ethnobotanist, I focus on how the relationship between people and plants can inform better approaches to human health. With a Ph.D. in Plant Sciences and over 15 years of experience across startups, CPG and ingredient companies, I bring a “soil to shelf” perspective on natural products. My work centers on integrating traditional knowledge with modern science to develop sustainable, evidence-based health solutions. In my role at Phynova, I translate complex biological research into clear, evidence-driven strategies that support clinical development and commercial strategy. I partner with business development and sales to communicate the value of Phynova’s ingredient, Reducose®, while advancing clinical validation, regulatory strategy, and market expansion across the Americas.Across my career, I’ve collaborated across cross-functional teams spanning R&D, clinical research, regulatory affairs, project management, and commercial functions to bridge the gap between discovery and application. I take a systems-based approach by connecting plants, biology, and real-world context to lead initiatives that advance botanicals and nutraceuticals in preventive health, with a focus on integrative medicine and scalable health solutions. My personal mission and passion is to bridge nature and modern science, leveraging the untapped power of plants to enhance lives globally, sustainably, and with a reverence for the earth.
