Provincial Representative on National steering committee for Commonwealth Women Parliamentarians. A member of the All Party Committee for Mental Health and Addictions. From 2013 to 2015 I was an opposition MHA. During this period I was Caucus Whip and held a number of critic portfolio's including Advanced Education and Skills, Status of women, persons with disabilities and Labrador. From 2014 to present I represent NL on the Commonwealth Women Parliamentarians. I have Extensive experience in leadership, social, economic and community development. Past deputy mayor of Charlottetown, past MNL director for Labrador, past Co Chair of NL Career Practitioner's Assoc. A trustee with Lab Grenfell for eight yrs and invovled with a host of others boards and committees.
