Evaluation of need for IT infrastructure facilities, internal network system and application software development. Preparation of annual budget for IT activities for management’s approval. Planning, designing, implementing and supervising IT projects, Establishment of rules and procedures for the maintenance of IT infrastructure and application software within IT and respective departments. Determination of need and implementation of training for IT staff and other users of IT facilities and application software with a view to increase overall computer literacy of the company’s personnel. Establishment of SOPs for acquisition of hardware and software within IT and with other departments, with emphasis on security checking against hacking, import of destructive viruses and malware. In collaboration with the company’s management, establish systems for personnel permission to access company database, with emphasis on security of the company’s data and business practices. Establishment and maintenance of contact with prospective service providers, negotiation of service agreements with respective providers and monitoring delivery of services. Providing assistance to respective departments in determining the need for hardware and software and procurement.

Duties and Responsibilities: Manage IT planning/projects and development efforts related to the maintenance and enhancement of the current business applications. Overall personnel management responsible for business information systems for technical staff, including systems analyst, programmers and administrators. Identify and define user problems and needs. Define appropriate response, including emergency corrections. Evaluate current system effectiveness and propose of new systems, system changes or software packages as the need arises. Advise management and users of system capabilities, limitations and cost effectiveness. Develop and adhere to all programming, testing, and access and documentation standards. Support Technical operations in the training of technical support staff and in the maintenance of training manuals and documentation according to existing standards. Ensure error correction and resolution through the use of appropriate test procedures, communication and use of RCA (Root Cause Analysis) Assure that system corrections and new systems are incorporated into appropriate user documentations Provide Management with an estimate of scope and nature of outstanding service or maintenance request and suggest courses of action. Cooperate with other staff members in the fulfillment of assignments Perform other duties as assigned

Duties and Responsibilities: Develop and evaluate options in infrastructure planning to support new applications and technologies. Perform analysis and make recommendations regarding server and network- related equipment and software. 2 Perform audit on company software and hardware (such as servers, workstations, UPS, etc) to ensure that all installed software are licensed and accounted for. Develop systems application under Forms 6i, Reports 6i, Designer 2000, Visual Basic, and Java development tools. Analyze server and network activity and maintain performance monitoring systems as well as other software programs, e.g., intrusion detections, virus scanning applications, etc. Assist DBA in implementing network security administrations. Design and manage network security systems including the network firewall. Participate in the development of policies and procedures for use of network facilities and ensure implementation. Develop and maintain detailed maintenance and contingency plans and documentation for server infrastructure. Perform routine server backups, and systems maintenance. Assist in planning activities and committees that relate to the development and deployment of information technology in support of company operations. Supervise equipment installation, troubleshooting and hardware testing, ongoing maintenance of production and stating/QA environments, and continuous monitoring and troubleshooting of Internet applications. Maintain proxy server, e-mail servers (Linux) and other e-mail/internet services of the company. Maintain various communications and network equipment such as PABX, fax, Modems, hubs, switches, and routers. Fulfill other Administrative reporting requirements.
