Led the software and hardware engineering for autonomous mobile robots and self-driving vehicles, including: 1) Software and electrical architecture of the second-generation Autonomous People Mover (APM), an autonomous driving single-passenger vehicle for airport transit. Conducted successful pilot deployments in multiple international airports. 2) Design, engineering, and deployment of an autonomous UV disinfection robot equipped with a 6-DOF robotic arm and a mobile base. 3) Manufacturing of fleets of autonomous cleaning robots with scalability and efficiency. Contributed individually on technical areas including autonomous navigation software architecture, perception algorithms for multi-object detection/tracking, electrical system integration and motor driver firmware development. Managed a cross-functional technical team of over 10 members in software, UI/UX, cloud services, and hardware engineering. Significant involvement in procurement, project proposals, hiring and contracts.

Led the software and hardware development and roll-out of the first Autonomous People Mover (APM) prototype and conducted successful trials in international airports across North America and Europe. Developed autonomous navigation software architecture, obstacle avoidance algorithms, electrical systems and motor driver firmware. Supervised and mentored a 5-person software and hardware engineering team.

Initiated the machine vision startup and gained acceptance into the NextAI and NVIDIA Inception accelerator programs. Scaled the business to achieve over 10,000 unit sales of gesture recognition software tailored for drone OEMs. Implemented a cloud-based licensing platform and orchestrated the seamless deployment of software solutions. Led the development of a drone hand gesture detection SDK, compatible with embedded platforms such as Qualcomm Snapdragon 820.
