* o Prepare and market job seekers including those with high and complex needs. * o Assist Job Seekers in becoming work-ready. * o Facilitate work trials and work place modifications. * o Meet the needs of the local labour market. * o Develop local strategies to secure and maximize work experience, training and employment opportunities. * o Conduct training sessions for Job Seekers. & manage Job Seekers case load. * o Ensure compliance with DEEWR and Campbell Page guidelines. * o Record management and DEEWR Reporting. * o Market research employment opportunities for DES clients. * o Assist and mentor clients and provide post placement support.

* o Research & prepare State of Shellharbour’s Children Report. * o Conduct negotiation and liaison with Community Partners. * o Coordinate small projects independently and with Aboriginal Community Engagement Officer. Advocate for families and ensure Children have citizenship rights and a voice. * o Organise and conduct parent/professional workshops. * o Co-located with Department of Human Services (Centrelink) to advocate for Customers under BAFW (Building Australia’s Future Workforce) – Helping Young Parents and Supporting Jobless Families. * o Data collection and reporting. * o Attend and represent Barnardos at local community interagencies. * o Report Writing and provide secretariat support and convene meetings.
