manager, inclusion and diversity
About
I have had 20 years professional work in the areas of social inclusion and diversity, 9 of those years coordinating the Local Area Multicultural Partnership (LAMP) Program in Queensland, 5 years in direct case management of refugee families, four years in early childhood research and 2 years as a consultant in the sector. I have worked across various sectors including local government, community services, health and NFP. My key area of expertise is in diversity and inclusion, particularly in relation to culturally and linguistically diverse Australians. I enjoy implementing wide-ranging organizational change with the aim of inclusion in service delivery, leadership, marketing and communications and community education and engagement. I have volunteered extensively in my life including 9 years full time with Initiatives of Change; many years with Multicultural Development Association (Queensland) and more recently on the Board of Directors of Bridging Lanka.
