For the past 2 years I have been an administrative Assistant for the seed company in the midwest. I love Ag and working with our customers and dealers. I handle financing, customer relations, office events, mailings and other must haves for the office. Prior to this, I was a teacher for 9 years working with a dynamic and diverse population of students. I have taught in two residential education facilities working with students on reading skills and special education. I have worked with school districts to facilitate education of students placed in residential treatment from 3 days to 1 year. I began using online curriculum within my classroom with Plato Learning, assessed students and instituted a schedule to suit student needs. Prior to teaching, I obtained my Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education from the University of Northern Iowa. While attending college I worked as a bank teller, customer service manager, and payroll clerk for the Department of Transportation.
