About
I'm a Staff Librarian / Scholarly Communication Specialist at Marshall University. I'm also an Adjunct Professor with WVROCKS where I teach RITL courses (Advanced Digital Literacy; Orientation to Technology Applications) to RBA students throughout the state of WV. Additionally, I'm working to build a blog rooted in personal finance tips and tricks. You can view that website at: https://www.mylifebrarian.com. I have an MS in Library Science, an MA and BA in psychology, and a 15-hr grad certificate in Behavioral Statistics. I have works published in the International Journal of Information Management, Library Trends, Library Quarterly, Journal of Documentation (forthcoming), and the Bulletin of the Association for Information Science and Technology. My research interests intersect the information science and social psychology professions, and include diversity and social justice issues, motivating factors for data sharing, social media's impact on access to information, and mental health in libraries.
