In the hope of uncovering new and better therapeutic interventions, I worked on efforts to dissect and understand the colorectal cancer tumor microenvironment using single cell sequencing and bulk transcriptomics approaches, coupled with in vitro culture of patient-derived cells intended to model tumor microenvironment interactions. - Planned, performed, and analyzed experiments to model the colorectal cancer tumor microenvironment - Streamlined experimental workflow for patient tumor-derived cells to ensure collection of integral data points - Analyzed bulk and single cell RNA sequencing data to discover possible correlates of patient prognosis and potential new therapeutic targets for in vitro validation - Managed scientific and budgetary aspects of a multi-million-dollar collaborative translational research and clinical trial study with a major multinational pharmaceutical industry partner - Contributed as co-author to 1 publication
