I am currently a fourth-year student at Carleton University pursuing a BA in Psychology with a Forensic concentration. I am very interested in supporting others and would like to work in a helping profession. I am now seeking a full-time, paid, co-op position for January- April or January- August (these are the co-op program guidelines). I have training and experience working with vulnerable populations as I have worked as a Residence Fellow at Carleton for two years, volunteered as a Peer Support at the Sexual Assault Centre at Carleton for a year and now volunteer with the Carleton Sexual Assault Peer Support Helpline. I am certified in First Aid and CPR-A, safeTALK, Mental Health First Aid, and completed safespaces, Upstander, and diversity training too. I would be interested in many types of positions just to be able to get first-hand experience and to learn more about practice in the field. I am a very hard worker with a passion for helping others.
