Develop and establish effective housekeeping solutions inclusive of techniques and processes. Implement and effective and quality management system. set formal and measurable performance targets and reporting strategies for staff. Set formal and measurable service level matrixes, performance targets and strategies for contractors including an annual review of any service level agreements. Plan and manage cost enters through OPEX and capex budgets, and capital value to the asset. Provide advice and Recommendations such that commercial and contract risk are effective mitigated. Participate in benchmarking and implementation of contract management best practices and integration of lessons learnt. Perform contract management capacity development. Participate in a provide advice in the establishment and implementation of a standardized contract management governance framework. Implement and support sound stakeholder relationship. Manage and resolve contract disputes, adjudications, arbitration and legal proceedings. Manage and report on contract performance and lead cost saving initiatives. Review, plan and monitor integration sourcing and procurement plans and provide input to contracting strategies.

Responsible for correct interpretation of purchase requisition and for soliciting of quotations from potential supplier for said orders. Evaluating of quotations received, negotiating with the selected suppliers and correct placement of Purchase orders. Ensure that all queries from orders placed are speedily resolved. Expedite and follow up on orders to ensure on time delivery. Contact vendors with discrepancies with quantity and quality of their product. interface with all the departments and resolve any purchasing related problems and issues that may arise.

Tendering process administration: administer the tender process - Undertake and commercial evaluation and adjudication of supplier bids and co-ordinates technical evaluation -Agree supplier negotiation metrics with commodity manager and negotiates with successful tenders in finalizing all contract terms and conditions . Commodity Performance Monitoring: Report on contract performance including: Contract spend and consumption - Contract price escalation performance vs relevant price indices - BEE spend - Report on contract administration efficiency line with annually agreed end - user service level agreement (SLAs), including: - New contract establishment lead times - Price evaluations - Amendments - Resolution of queries. Compliance to policies, procedures and standards for risk management: Ensure compliance to relevant legislation and ensure contract management support in terms of archiving , contract price adjustments and correspondence.
