* 15 bed Forensic ASD Medium secure Ward with males aged between 18 and 65. Responsibilities include; -Assisting the nurse manager in running a 15 bed medium secure Ward for adult males aged 18-65 Ensuring that care provided is off the highest standard, patient centred and evidence based * Assisting with the recruitment and retention of staff -Managing the two teams (one day shift and one night shift) on the ward * Supervising Registered nurses and health care assistants within my team and inducting new staff and students onto the ward. * Assisting in the management of the off * duty and annual leave ensuring that each shift has the right skill mix in order to be able to administer exceptional patient care which is both client centred and effective.
