The Rock is a backpack food program for food deprived children of financially deprived families of the Cedar Rapids and Marion, Iowa area. Fill packs on a weekly basis with the philosophy that we are there to share Jesus and to serve them spiritually. We are ambassadors representing the Kingdom and all that it entails to a broken world, which leads to the definition of poverty alleviation. We We as servants are broken as well and do not have our act together, but we keep in mind that we are listening to their hurting and feelings of inadequacies. We encourage our families by communicating to them that they have gifts as well, and can help them to recover their sense of dignity. We want to walk with them and asking God to heal them.

Serve as a Board member of the Haitian Christian Foundation and coordinate mission groups that will travel into Haiti to support the Center For Biblical Training in Cap Haitien, Assist with travel planning, coordinating communication and stays at the Center for Biblical Training.

Our Objective: Provide a place for children in grades 3-5 to "Hang Out" over the summer . The camp provides physical, emotional, mental and spiritual activities throughout each day. The camp theme each week includes: Respect, Citizenship, Responsibilities, Trustworthiness, Fairness, and Caring. The Planned Activities for each day are Spiritual Activities - which include Bible lessons and daily prayer time, Mental Activities - reading, writing, math and journaling, weekly trips to the city library; Physical Activities - 2 weeks of private swimming lessons, indoor/outdoor games. field trips and end of camp trip to Theme Park; Emotional Activities - opportunities to brighten the day of our elderly people, thank you notes to Chik-Fil-A, and those that provide home cooked, meals during the week, assist with weeding at the community garden and helping at the local food pantry. Rides are provided for the campers. Breakfast, lunch and a snack are provided every day.

Co-leader with husband Harold Randall as Deacon of Missions. Planned, organized, led and served on missionary teams into Honduras, Haiti and Kenya. Currently assisting teams with planning, organizing and communication of trip details that are traveling to Haiti to serve at the Center of Biblical Training outside of Cap Haitian, Haiti
