Linda Morrell-Schwartz, MBA, CCS, serves as the Director of Coding Operations at Datavant. Linda leads a dedicated team of coders and auditors, delivering best-in-class services to clients while maintaining the highest standards of accuracy and efficiency. Linda's dedication to empowering her team and driving continuous improvement is evident in the exceptional results achieved by her team.

Supported Product Development and Innovation by managing and executing cost savings and new innovative product launches. Managed and implemented the development of raw materials, specifications, AutoCAD drawings, material costs, and cost-savings projects. Assisted with development of new or current solutions by defining the desired product function in order to achieve customer satisfaction. Also supported manufacturing of products by identifying and defining the appropriate material properties to achieve desired product performance and process ability. Worked on sustainability projects, creating biodegradable, flushable, and compostable products for "green" movement, entailing extensive research on raw materials available and cost and engineering manufacturing of raw materials.

Supported R&D efforts by utilizing Product Development Process while working with cross-functional team (Sales, Marketing, Quality, Engineering, and Design) to develop new products and manage upgrades to current products for cost and performance improvement. Worked with several categories within company, such as light bladder control pads, adult protective underwear, baby diapers. Utilized Lean manufacturing tools, such as Design for Six Sigma, designed new products, developed and wrote specifications, wrote test methods and SOPs, communicated with suppliers, organized and ran manufacturing trials, and coordinated market research studies.

Formulated industrial cleaners and solvent-based oils specific to customer needs in a research and development environment.

Performed quality standard testing on natural and synthetic oils to ensure product specification requirements and equipment calibration.
