Linda Mkhwanazi

I am a junior Plant Metallurgist working within Plant Technical Services, providing technical and metallurgical support across crushing, Dense Medium Separation (DMS), Ultra-High Dense Medium Separation (UHDMS), and jig circuits. My experience includes assessing circuit performance through metallurgical accounting, mass balancing, and yield and recovery analysis, as well as evaluating separation efficiency and cut-point stability. I am involved in identifying sources of process inefficiency such as material misplacement, feed variability, and product contamination, and in supporting corrective actions through structured sampling, test work, and data-driven analysis. I work closely with operations, maintenance, and instrumentation teams to translate metallurgical insights into practical plant improvements, while supporting continuous improvement initiatives aimed at improving stability, recovery, and overall plant performance. Analytical, detail-oriented, and safety-driven, I am committed to developing strong technical depth and delivering practical, plant-focused solutions within the mineral processing environment.
