Main responsibility was to bring in new customers, as well as maintaining existing accounts. Marketing budget small, mainly used for exhibition stands at TechTextil & A+A in Germany. Entering into tenders. Liaising with Enterprise Ireland and other bodies. Successful application and entry into EU research programme. Customer base grew significantly, but order size small because larger orders being given to cheaper producers in Asia.

Various roles within the Purser's department including: Secretary to the Captain (also involved working with other members of the bridge and taking minutes of technical meetings). Accounts & administration on board cruise ships, reception, meet & greet and hostess duties. Seconded to the Newbuild Team from Jan - Apr 2000 at Meyerwerft Shipyard in Papenburg for the completion of the newbuild of the Aurora.

Based in Crystal Holiday's Austrian office logging the resort representatives' sales and attempting to match them with bills from local Austrian suppliers (equipment hire, ski schools, evening entertainment providers, etc).

Managing all day-to-day activities, sales, accounting and legal aspects of the business - sales, rentals, installations and repairs of commercial catering equipment (e.g. Commercial glass and dishwashers, icemakers, bottle coolers, ovens, etc).
