Baja SAE consists in a competition that simulate real-world engineering design projects and their related challenges. Engineering students are tasked to design and build an off-road vehicle that will survive the severe punishment of rough terrain.During competition, teams are judged on a variety of factors including cost reports, design reports and decisions, acceleration performance, braking performance, suspension performance, and a four hour long endurance race. As the team's director: Responsible for managing the team, project managing, keeping in touch with suppliers, sponsors and the university. As PowerTrain designer: Design, manufacture and validation of the vehicle's transmission system. Final thesis in product development: Design and prototype of a device to inhibit the presence of dogs from predetermined places. -By preventing the animal access to chosen environments, it prevents the occurrence of inconveniences inherent in the respective site. For the development of this product, the method proposed by Phal et al is employed. In the conceptual design phase, a total of twelve posible alternatives solutions were created with the aid of Morphological Matrix. The solution's concept was tested on five physical prototypes. After consolidation of the concept it has been specified and a set was prototyped with definitive materials.The results obtained confirm the applicability of the product, requiring optimization and miniaturization of components
