Responsible for providing strategic analyses, advice and recommendations to senior management and colleagues on policy and economic challenges facing the Canadian space sector, including positioning space as a key Canadian infrastructure, contributing to the development of a space strategy for Canada, developing reports and case studies, and supporting proposals to increase federal funding for the Canadian space sector (including demonstrating return on investment).

Contributed to four major evaluations of National Defence programs including the Canadian Naval Forces and the Cadets and Junior Rangers Program. Planned, lead and participated in qualitative and quantitative research methodologies including interviews, surveys, focus groups, document reviews and program data analysis. Developed evaluation frameworks and plans and performance measurement strategies including logic models, performance indicators to guide the conduct of evaluation projects. Formulated findings regarding program relevance and performance, developed recommendations and wrote evaluation reports. Facilitated a national bilingual (English and French) data gathering and analysis exercise which included leading interviews and focus groups in a remote aboriginal community in northern Canada.

Provided tailored solutions to public sector organizations in response to Central Agency initiatives in the areas of organizational effectiveness, human resources planning and strategies, talent management and change management, program evaluation and governance. Managed three consulting projects and major components of projects and balanced project budgets to ensure on-time and on-budget delivery. Developed and negotiated project proposals (memoranda of understanding) with federal clients in order to clearly identify project activities, costs and timelines. Designed and implemented qualitative and quantitative research methodologies including stakeholder interviews, surveys, literature and program data analysis. Summarized research findings and developed advice and recommendations to clients including strategies, frameworks and plans for implementation. Contributed to the development of methodologies and business lines including an organizational review methodology, data collection surveys and analysis matrices and 360 degree feedback.
