My journey began in Singapore, where I gained exposure to modern trade and channel operations, before taking on full responsibility to lead GreenLife’s market entry and expansion in China. Starting from scratch, I built our China operations from the ground up — from devising the go-to-market strategy and launching our first Tmall Global store, to establishing a local team, localized product portfolio, and multi-platform e-commerce presence. Under my leadership, GreenLife expanded rapidly across major platforms including Tmall, JD, and Douyin. From an initial pilot year, we grew the business into a 9-figure GMV operation through phased expansion, performance-driven marketing, and data-informed decision-making. To support long-term scalability, I also led the successful formation of a China-based joint venture entity — a strategic move that enhanced operational agility and accelerated local market growth.
