• Manage Lead Byer team and ensure sufficient HC according to business needs • Provide and manage department KPI • Control and leverage supplier capacity • Train Lead buyer team • Conduct MRP and make sure material fulfillment (direct and indirect) to meet production schedule. • Escalated material OTD and lead time management. • Maintain smooth supply chain and decided mode of transport • Conduct purchasing strategy. • Execute purchasing procedure/process • Execute Ethic and Code of Conduct Policy. • Maintain vendor master data • Coordinate with internal customer, external customer, operation and engineering to ensure smooth delivery. • Expand/consolidate supplier base for each commodity/department. • Execute continue improvement process for each commodity/department • Coordinate on MRB for NCM (Quality related) • Conduct supplier’s quality development. • Indirect Sourcing and Purchasing such as travel, office supply, manufacturing indirect material, and etc.

Responsibilities: • Setting up non production purchase (Indirect) department and Purchasing Admin department. • Implement Indirect purchase procedure/process into Seagate System (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd • Execute Ethic and Code of Conduct Policy • Develop Sourcing Strategies for each direct commodity such as plastic, sheet metal, machining, fastener, power supply, PCBA and etc. • Develop Sourcing Strategies for each indirect commodity such as travel and hotel (USD 2M), consumable items (USD 0.5M), jigs and fixture (USD 0.2M), facility management (USD 0.5M), labor sourcing (USD 6M), telecommunication (USD 1.5M) and etc. • Coordinate with operation and engineering to ensure smooth delivery. • Coordinate with engineering on NPI and supplier qualification. • Expand/consolidate supplier base for each commodity/department. • Implement purchasing strategy for each commodity/department • Execute continue improvement process for each commodity/department • Execute cost saving activities (USD 2M) • Conduct suppliers audit and QBR process
