About

I’m interested in what happens when stories cross borders.Over the past decade, that curiosity has taken me through film sets, newsrooms, classrooms, creator communities, and brand campaigns. I’ve worked across documentary, entertainment, localization, and content strategy, helping ideas travel between languages, markets, and audiences.Today, I’m the founder of Mother Tongue Media, a cross-cultural storytelling studio based in New York. My work sits between the U.S. and Greater China, where I help brands, institutions, and creators connect with audiences through narrative strategy, cultural localization, and content production.Whether producing a global campaign, developing a documentary, building a creator ecosystem, or facilitating community conversations, I’m ultimately drawn to the same question:What is lost, gained, and transformed when stories move from one cultural context to another? My recent work includes campaigns and collaborations with Liene, Sephora Hong Kong, COS × Fantastic Man China, ReelShort, and a growing portfolio of projects exploring diaspora identity, cultural exchange, and emerging media.Let the mother tongue sound off.
