Management Consultant presently engaged to provide executive leadership and technical support for a small nonprofit corporation currently undergoing a transitional phase in its development. Primary role consists of working with and leading the board of directors through a branding, strategic assessment, and a business planning process that includes board recruitment and training, resource solicitation, and promoting neighborhood leadership through innovative and collaborative solutions that impact and stimulate sustainable economic development that results in increased social and family engagement and greater opportunities for the immediate and future well-being of children and families.

Overall leadership of the organization’s philosophy, mission and strategic plan, management of the center including management of personnel, fiscal oversight, program development and refinement of service programs; legal and fiduciary compliance to grantors; public relations, networking and advocacy, fundraising, accounting and budgeting, building operation and maintenance recruitment, development and evaluation of the Center’s personnel staff.The Hattie B. Cooper Community Center (Cooper) has served children and families in Roxbury, MA for over 97 years. Cooper currently provides high-quality early education and care to 125 children daily through Infant and Toddler Child Care, Preschool, and After-School programs.
