I have an Associate's degree in architectural technology, I spent 4 years in the Army as a surveyor, I am working on my Bachelor's degree in business administration at Colorado Technical University, and I have over 6 years of experience in customer service. Currently, my goals are to own my own business as a photographer and expand into a larger operation as a business owner of a one-stop wedding shop. I am self-motivated, hard-working, compassionate, and bring a variety of experiences that will work as a great foundation to a company. An example of a time where I was placed in a leadership position was in my Army duties. Our squad of 8 people was poorly organized and being punished quite frequently; therefore, morale was low. Within one week, I was able to improve the organization of our squad, decrease punishments and increase morale. I was able to accomplish these improvements by leading by example. I would ensure boots were tied, ruck sacks were tucked in, uniforms were properly pressed, members of the squad were in line appropriately, and prepared for duty on time. These may seem like small improvements; however, in the military, they are quite important because each item is vital to ensuring the success of not only each member of the squad, but the platoon and unit as a whole.
