* Performed the duties of Senior Permit Data Technician assigned to the Permit Data Division. I supervised the permit data technicians on the day-to-day activities of the records unit. Specific duties included hiring and supervising permanent and temporary staff * developing procedures and methods with computer applications * daily mail processing * evaluating resource capabilities and the effective utilization of same * cross training of PDS staff * preparing merit reviews * coordinating public relations efforts and evaluating their effectiveness. Responsible for the issuing of permits * preparing bank deposits * processing incoming mail * data entry * processing purchase orders, and * maintaining an inventory of supplies and office equipment.

Specific duties performed on a routine basis include developing and maintaining project logs and files for routine correspondence, Requests for Information, Job Memoranda, Design Change Orders, Field Change Orders, Architects Supplemental Instructions, shop drawing submittals, testing reports, inspectors’ daily reports, monthly reports, issues/claims, photo records, progress schedules/reports, material and delivery records, visual aids, charts, graphs and job conference minutes. Handles security badging for team members and assists in reviewing payroll reports and in the preparation of Application of Payment. Throughout the years, Ms. Oquendo has gained extensive experience in OIA and OEA operations and is highly knowledgeable in the administrative elements of GOAA’s project management processes and procedures. Presently the GCI office manager at OIA and provides day to day assistance to GCI’s Project Managers assigned GOAA projects.
