I managed a GBP 12 Million project portfolio. The projects relate to Climate Smart Agriculture and are located in Malawi, Mozambique, Tanzania, Zambia and Zimbabwe. Each project included a grant and technical assistance provided by consultants; I managed both elements and each individual project budget. Main responsibilities relating to the grantees included; managing the grant application and review processes, grant budget reviews and contracting as well as continuous oversight to ensure the projects adhere to timelines, budgets and farmer beneficiary targets. For consultants, I managed the recruitment discussions, review and approval of timesheets and coordination between the Consultants and the grantees. At a programme level I was involved in the preparation of Quarterly and Annual programme reports, spend forecasting and the development of relevant systems and processes for project implementation.
