Developed interpersonal relations and communication skills with customers and co-workers. Assigned tasks to co-workers when working in groups. Mentored new workers on various tasks. Assisted in the set-up and organization of events.

This program involved students of a variety of majors collaborating to better communicate information about the watershed, crop diversity, pesticide use and other environmental issues. This program took place over six weeks, however some work will continue as we prepare for a final exhibit of the projects in the fall.

Assisted with the painting of sets and scenery for the Miami University Theater Department. This position included replicating designs at a larger scale, creating textures through paint to recreate the designer's vision, and mixing colors to match the designer's color selections.

Fast paced internship that involved selecting, pricing, and ordering materials and furniture. Made furniture drawings and floor plans for clients, assisted on site visits and with client meetings. Helped with the setup of +Olive, the owner s new company and storefront that housed her sustainable furniture designs.

Researched and applied for grants to fund renovation projects which involved writing letters of inquiry, filling out applications, etc. Coordinated field trips for the summer art camps, helped with art activities, and assisted the art director in preparation for camps. Provided before and after child care for the summer camps. Organized activities and equipment for the campers.

Assisted an architect with a range of assignments to finish a custom, nature-inspired residential project. Tasks primarily involved woodworking, however varied daily and included stone-working, design discussions with the client and architect. Periodically managed a crew of students to assist with job site organization and clean-up.

Provides attentive customer service in person and over the telephone. Design and arrange displays in the book department. Utilize various computer programs to handle shipping, receiving, inventory, text book buy backs, book orders, etc. Other duties include:filing, shipping, receiving, running the register, updating and replenishing displays of merchandise.

Assisted with various tasks including drafting floor plans, selecting material samples for clients, updating the material library, etc.

Participated in an immersive internship program alongside interns from around the US and the world. Assisted designers and architects with their projects, ranging in type, scale, and scope. Assembled, developed and documented material palettes, created inspiration boards, selected furnishing and fixture options, created plumbing and finish schedules, and worked in Revit. Created a presentation to show art placement options for a client. Worked with others to construct several full-scale mock ups for client meetings. Contributed to the reorganization and transition of the materials library during an office renovation. Developed positive relationships with vendors and representatives, communicating and working with them on a regular basis. Set up for, attended, and participated in meetings. Used creativity in the realization of special events for the office.
