As the Senior Manager of BT’s Cyber and Security Engineering division, I led the design, development, and deployment of a diverse of Cyber security controls end-to-end, driving development and innovation while ensuring the protection of BT’s global infrastructure and customer base and the BT brand. With oversight of a multimillion Opex/Capex budget, I managed all staff and procurement in alignment with UK government’s Telecom Security Act. I also managed BT’s security posture, facilitated team growth, and fostered innovation through agile methodologies, driving cultural shifts.

As Senior Manager, I orchestrated the design, development, and deployment of EE's mobile IP backbone network, driving significant revenue generation and seamless operation for over 30 million customers across 2G to 5G networks. With a multi-million pound Opex/Capex budget, I optimized resources, implemented innovative automation, and spearheaded the successful integration of BT and EE networks post-merger, enhancing our competitive edge.

As BT's enterprise architect, I spearheaded transformative initiatives to shape corporate architecture and processes across diverse portfolios. I streamlined architecture for BT's fibre launch, cut delivery time by 16 days, and optimized fault handling. Leading system enhancements, I boosted efficiency and ensured flawless product launches.

I led, designed, and delivered the strategic development of the UK 21CN and 20CN wide core network, aligning roadmaps with BT’s overarching business goals. Managed UK-wide platform development, maintenance, and resource alignment, resolving live core issues and collaborating closely with operational teams, vendors, and development teams to support platform architecture and strategy.

Led design, development, and deployment for BT’s Global MPLS VPN products, including High-speed Ethernet, VPN security, and DSL access VPNs. Coordinated cross-functional teams, defined product requirements, and conducted technical trainings. Collaborated with vendors like Cisco and Juniper to drive innovation and product excellence.

Joined BT as a graduate after my second degree, leading network advancements and secure service implementations for corporate clients on the BT Internet Backbone Network. Utilizing cutting-edge technologies like Checkpoint Firewalls and DDOS solutions, I developed secure servers crucial for Concert (BT and ATT). Also, I mentored new graduates and promoted cross-team collaboration through training and knowledge sharing.

After graduating as an Electrical Engineer in Tirana, Albania, combining a 5-year degree and masters, I launched my career as a unit manager overseeing power distribution. In this capacity, I managed city projects, maintained power for urban areas, corporate entities, and factories, resolving live issues and outages. Leading a large unit, I also served on the company's Board of Directors.
