Liang Wu (Willow)

Willow is a Legal Executive at LVM Law Chambers, specialising in international arbitration with a focus on China-related matters. Her practice spans Singapore, Hong Kong, and Mainland China, encompassing complex commercial and construction arbitration. She holds the PRC National Legal Professional Qualification and is able to advise on Chinese law. Her experience at Zhong Lun Law Firm and King & Wood Mallesons includes supporting cross-border corporate transactions and participating in on-site due diligence for IPOs and M&A. Willow is also familiar with mediation, having completed Hong Kong Mediation Training with The Accord Group (HKMAAL-recognised), equipping her with practical skills in alternative dispute resolution. International Arbitration Expertise: Willow brings a distinctive combination of institutional, private practice, and transactional experience to her arbitration practice. Prior to joining LVM Law Chambers, she contributed to high-stakes construction arbitration matters at Rajah & Tann Singapore LLP, conducting research on common law and Singapore law issues in arbitrations administered by SIAC, DIAC, and SCC. Willow also has hands-on case management experience at two of the world’s leading arbitral institutions. At SIAC and HKIAC, she assisted in managing a diverse caseload spanning trade, corporate, maritime, and construction disputes. Her training at ICC in Paris further deepened her understanding of international arbitration practice. Professional Engagement & Business Development: Willow is actively engaged with the next generation of arbitration practitioners. She has served as an arbitrator at the 33rd Vis Moot, the 23rd Vis East Moot, and the 23rd CIETAC Cup. As Event Coordinator for the 22nd Vis East Moot, she helped organise a global competition involving over 400 arbitrators and 156 teams, representing more than 1,500 participants worldwide - an experience that strengthened her project management and organisational capabilities. She brings this same commitment to building trusted client relationships and contributing to the Firm’s business development through her networks in Greater China and beyond. She is an active member of Young SIAC and Young ICCA, and is currently a mentee in the 2025-2026 Moot Alumni Association Mentor-Mentee Programme, reflecting her dedication to continuous learning and the future of the field. Willow is fluent in English and Mandarin, and conversant in Cantonese.
