Focusing on early-stage medical device projects

• In charge of strategy formulation for company-level R&D activities and intellectual property (IP) layout, and application & management of government projects • Other duties: identifying potential collaborations and business outreach, and representing the company at relevant academic and business conferences

• As a co-founder independently developed the association charter (officially approved and adopted) and established a new organizational structure and operation model for the association; Created a crucial platform for UK alumni communication and collaboration • Organized the Association Annual General Meetings and social activities including career fairs and boat parties for all alumni; Established and maintained good partnership with various stakeholders including Imperial College London, Peking University UK Alumni Association and Tsinghua University UK Alumni Association • Mobilized financial resources to maintain the operational functioning of the association • Achievement: The association had become one of the most influential Chinese university alumni associations in the UK, with more than over six hundred registered members by 2016

• Performed data analysis of a Wi-Fi security overlay system for an international investment company with Splunk (a software for searching, monitoring, and analyzing machine-generated big data) • Produced a concise report showing the customer the performance of the security system and the service MarQuest had delivered using Splunk data visualization tool • Improved the communication efficiency between MarQuest and our customer

Project: Metamaterials Based Superdirectivity • Built the first analytical model in the research field for predicting the radiation behaviours of an electrically small two-element parasitic antenna array and coded it with Matlab • Designed new simple, compact and robust superdirective structures and then examined them through parametric full wave analysis with CST MW Studio • Revealed the actual physics behind superdirective phenomenon through theoretical deductions and experimental verifications • Contributed to organizing the 9th International Congress on Advanced Electromagnetic Materials in Microwaves and Optics-Metamaterials (2015) • Had six papers submitted and five published University of Oxford Insight into Business Programme (Strategy and Marketing, Finance and Funding, People and Recruitment)

Project: Superdirectivity based on metamaterials International Transferable Research Skills Programme – Hong Kong Volunteering 2012-2013, Volunteer Coach, Keen London • Provided recreational activities to physically and mentally disabled children • Encouraged a boy with autism to join activities with other children and ensured his safety
