Project Engineering/Project Management: See brief summary of some projects below in the "Projects"​ Section. Responsible for the estimation, bidding, project planning and subsequent installation on projects managing all aspects, including small, medium and large installation teams on vessels such as - Semi-Submersibles, Deepwater Drill ships, Jack Ups, FPSO’s and Tanker Ships and Passenger Ships both onshore, in shipyards and Power stations etc and offshore, inclusive of: Managing installation teams, vendors and clients. Budget and Cost management for small, medium and large projects. Liaising with clients, inspectors, 3rd Parties and end customers On-site surveying - Steel Works and Piping including use of a 3D Laser scanner where required. Estimations and Quotations Design and Installation according to ASME/ANSI/IACS/NORSOK/EN standards etc where applicable. Pre weld fit up inspections (Steelwork and Pipework) in conjunction with fabrication standards and liaising with class societies to ensure conformity throughout the entire fabrication and installation phase. Overseeing NDT/NDE, Pressure Testing and other testing where necessary Supervision of paint/coating applications to ensure adherence to procedures and overseeing inspections Good understanding of technical drawings - P&ID’s, Isometrics, Construction Drawings, Schematics etc Basic knowledge of AutoCAD, Naviswork and other design software.
