As a Ph.D. candidate at Wayne State University's Physiology Department, my focus lies at the intersection of Computer Science and Biology. I am passionate about using my technical and scientific expertise to design and execute innovative research projects, with a long-term goal of becoming a Research Scientist. Equipped with a Master of Science in Computer Sciences from the Florida Institute of Technology and a Bachelor of Engineering in Software Engineering from Tianjin Polytechnic University, I've honed my skills across several research roles. I have a strong track record in studying the immunological processes involved in normal pregnancy and pregnancy complications, identifying the existence and function of neural stem cells, and analyzing cellular structures using machine learning approaches. During my professional journey, I've also played key roles as a JAVA and Machine Learning Developer, and a Front End Web Developer, where I built and optimized various web applications. My software development experience complements my research work, allowing me to analyze complex biological data with advanced computational tools. My laboratory research skills are extensive, ranging from single cell RNA-Seq and flow cytometry to cell culture and molecular biology. I'm adept at conducting complex experiments, implementing computational analyses, and developing software tools to assist other researchers. I have contributed to numerous publications, often taking a central role in experiment design, methodology, and writing. My work has been published in reputable journals, demonstrating my commitment to advancing knowledge in the field. I'm excited to apply my unique blend of skills in computer science, software development, and biological research to further the understanding of the relationship between Computer Science and Biology, and contribute to groundbreaking discoveries in these fields.
