Designer
Westmoor Manufacturing Co.
In August of 2002, I started as an assistant for the Director of Design. After working at Westmoor for a year, while attending classes at TWU, I left temporarily to complete my BA in Fashion Design. Upon returning in November of 2004, I became a Designer, just before my May 2005 graduation. From 2004 - 2008, I was the designer for Junior's as well as Rough Stock, a traditional western line for men, women, and children. I also designed Black Label, a higher end men's and ladies' dress shirt line. From Spring 2008 - Spring 2009, I worked part-time from home while I was on an extended maternity leave. My main contribution during this time was textile design for all design categories (prints, plaids, knits - burnouts, etc.), as well as screenprint development for various lines. From Spring 2009 - Currently, I have returned full-time to the office. I am the designer for Rough Stock, a traditional western line for Men, Women, and children. My main focus is textile design, which is the driving force for this brand. I am also the Juniors Knitwear Designer as well. I focus on creating brand-right burnouts, prints, & screenprints, as well as trend-right silhouettes.

Associate
Brad Hughes
I worked at the Dallas Market Center in the Brad Hughes showroom. This showroom features high end apparel and accessories. I was hired to 'show' a line of graphic tops called Love Amour. I also filled in wherever I was needed, including receiving guests at the door, running errands, assisting other reps, etc. While working for Brad Hughes, I was completing my Fashion Merchandising Certification. I gained a lot of hands-on experience from working in such a thriving showroom!

Assitant Manager

I enjoyed supervising my sales team and driving them forward to meet our sales goals! Associate - Sales/Make-up Artist
Clinique
I worked as a make-up artist/sales associate for Clinique in Dillard's Department Stores. I enjoyed the creativity involved in this job and I enjoyed helping customers find the right products. This was a very rewarding job, experiencing the joy that you can bring to someone's life after giving them a make-over. I taught young teens how to use minimal make-up. I updated women that were looking for a fresh approach to their own make-up techniqes. I helped to provide confidence to women (and men) that were self-conscience about their appearance by educating them on skin-care and make-up techniques.
