Lewis Whitter

Working with young people has always been a passion for me. Starting my role in supporting working in 2020, I found my skills in emotional support and education , quickly progressing to a senior position in 2021. I left this support working role to expand my experience in education working with SEN students both in school and with work with local charities between 2022-2024. My role currently is working with GFRS in projects surrounding serious violence within the SkillZONE village, this has led to me not only working on multiple projects but developing the commitment of the serious violence duty from GFRS. Outside of my day work in a photographer. I run two small pages currently; LewiswhitterPhotography and YRMedia. LewiswhitterPhotography shows my work manly around weddings and family portraits. Shooting my first wedding in 2022 , I quickly fell in love with shooting them. I then decided I would try wedding videography in 2024 following my work done with my other page: YRMedia - created in 2018 when just 2 years into photography I wanted to capture music , music culture and scenes as well as have a platform to display local music on. This has led to me working with events and companies across the UK for both musical and promotional work. In the future I wish to expand and keep developing my practice and theory, making impacts either evident change and improvement for the health and wellbeing of local people. I want to continue my independent work in photography and videography and continue to work with families, couples , artists , events and festivals in order to expand both of my pages and hopefully develop more connections.
