Law enforcement professional providing Emergency services for the public to ensure they stay safe and secure.

Law is the practice of enforcing social control by regulating people’s behaviour. It is about rules, regulations and laws passed by the British Parliament and the European Union. We divide Law into the Criminal Code which deals with topic such as murder and theft and the Civil Code which deals with issues such as disputes between neighbours and personal injury claims.

Learners will complete both a BTEC Level 3 Diploma in Public Services (Uniformed) and a Level 3 Subsidiary Diploma in Applied Law. The combined qualification provides the knowledge, understanding and skills for learners wishing to enter a career in Public Service law enforcement or legal representation. Progression onto higher education to specialise in Law would be seen as a natural advancement for students on successful completion. The course will give learners a breadth of experience to equip them for the world of work. Activities and Societies: Joined the Staffordshire Army Cadets between 2007-2008 as part of the first year requirement within the College course.
