Lewis Chua

Lewis has been an athlete all his life, and his journey has taken him from the rugby fields of Auckland New Zealand to the weightlifting Platform of the 2014 Glasgow Commonwealth Games. His drive for being better day after day has led to his passion to set up the Solitude Of Strength facility in Singapore to reach out to everyone who wants to be better physically on a day to day basis. His passion for connecting people has led him to join The Consulting Partnership in hopes to connect people through fitness and wellness with their everyday life. On the sporting end, his focus on adapting key concepts that work for each body type and sport, and has seen him work with elite athletes from Rugby, Soccer, Karate, and Crossfit regionally and locally. Lewis is keen to meet, talk, learn and collaborate with other professionals in the industry. Lewis is taking his strong background in Chinese style Olympic weightlifting and merging it with functional concepts to help anyone and everyone achieve their goals be it the professional athlete, the weekend warrior, the fallen hero and the mother of four wanting to get up each day. He founded Solitude of Strength at the age of 20, wanting to give back to the community and the athletes that didn’t have a home or a place to complete their training. Rugby was still a passion and something that lived in his blood, so the next step to pay it forward was to help lecture with World Rugby for Strength and Conditioning, getting to travel to help developing countries strengthen themselves in sport is such a privilege. Lewis has expanded his entrepreneurship within the sport industry, partnering with businesses such as Kooyah Sports, to help provide top quality gym equipment to the community, as well as running a sport events company to provide logistics for the local sporting scene (Buffalo Events). Lewis’ hobbies lies with food, cooking and creating, in his spare time, he loves to cook for his family and friends and eventually branched out into the F&B industry (founder of @thebuffalobakes and co-founder of the @TrehausCafe) where he consults and constructs food menus and co-run operations.
