Provide strategic facilities management for the entire Altera campus in Penang, which consists of four buildings with a total floor area of 700k sq.ft. Apply best facilities management practices to deliver a world class working environment for Altera. Reporting to the Senior Vice President of Real Estate and Facilities Department in U.S. and responsible for the departmental financial management, regional real estate management, general building maintenance, engineering systems, projects and renovation, space planning, outsourcing services, custodial, gardening, security systems, crisis management, emergency response team, cafeteria management, authority compliance, environmental, health, safety and security management. Also, chartered to provide guidance , coaching and management support for both technical/non-technical staffs in achieving the departmental and organisational goals and objectives.

Oversee the operation team for excellent customer support. Ensure projects, building maintenance and site services (custodial, landscape, transportation, etc) are carrying out per customer requirement and meeting the key performance indicators. Notable customers: Intel, Infenion, Altera, Avago, ASE and Flextronics.

First job that i gained the most of my working experiences. Started as Estate Management Executive in year 2001 and eventually...... 1) Promoted to Senior executive in July 2003; 2) Appointed as Trainer on Awareness of IMS in Sep 2003 3) Appointed as Mentor of the Mentoring Program in Aug 2005; 4) Appointed as IMS Legal Team member in Sep 2005; 5) Appointed as IMS Document Control Teal Leader in Mar 2006 6) Promoted to Estate Management Manager in April 2006; 7) Resigned from the company in year 2007; 8) Invited by the SVP to re-join in year 2012 but didn't happen due to personal reason. The work scope during my 6 years in the company includes the general building maintenance, projects and renovation, housekeeping, landscaping, waste management, administrative support, real estate management, transportation services, cafeteria management, three ISO standards (Quality, Environmental, Safety & Health), etc. Ann Joo Steel is located on a piece of land (270 acres) in Seberang Prai, Penang, Malaysia. It is the oldest heavy steel making plant in South East Asia.
