Lev Pinelis has 20+ years of comprehensive experience in the tolling and transportation systems industries – having worked on strategic planning, technology development, operations and innovation with emerging solutions. Previous to that, he began his career as a Transportation Systems Engineer and consultant with IBI Group. He also developed USDOT-sponsored Connected Vehicle prototype projects while with Battelle. Lev holds a B.S. in Civil Engineering from Carnegie Mellon University and a M.S. in Transportation from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. He is a licensed Professional Engineer in Virginia and was a founding member and chairperson of the IBTTA Connected, Automated, Shared and Electric (CASE) Vehicle working group. Lev is based in Northern Virginia USA, just outside of Washington D.C.
