Since March 2023 I have been working in SPM Team at ASML customer via WEB, as an optical engineer, on defining the requirements both of fiber lasers with MOPA architecture and non linear optics for interferometers in lithography machines. Knowledge of the lithography machine architecture. I am in charge of maintaining progress with the respective manufacturers/suppliers in terms of technical requirements and address discussions for issue solutions. This happens via weekly meeting with suppliers. I deal with preparation of technical specifications of fiber lasers and non linear optics and testing in the cleanroom of the optical components. I also deal with internal stakeholder alignment when the aforementioned optical components are involved. Since 2025 I have been supporting as Scrum Master role also. I covered for 6 months the role of Team Leader of a small group of optical engineers at WEB on top of the technical role above.

I worked for almost 8 years as researcher development for the R&D department of Danieli Automation, one of Italy’s leading manufacturers of industrial automation and process control systems. I have 7 years’ experience designing of, and working with, sensors, mainly contactless metrology sensors (based on laser triangulation principle), cameras 2D and 3D, optics for metrology and surface inspection in critical environments. Expertise regarding the latest optical solutions on the market, experience in selecting them based on the needs of the application; expertise in interference filters, surface treatments for optics based on application conditions, coating for mirrors. Knowledge of telecentric optics and their possible use. I dealt with several projects, some as single other in teams as optical engineering expertise. I worked in laser safety for a year. The majority of my work in Danieli Automation was based on urgent global projects (working, thinking, deciding and implementing in a critical time period).

Designing (optics, choose of materials and LED, experimental prototypes testing) and engineering of a smart solution for LED RGB light guides for visual orientation by light colours inside complex building as hospitals (according to the region Friuli Venezia Giulia “Easymob” project). The solution is mounted inside the CRO in Aviano and is controllable through Ethernet by a central server. - Optical drawings and testing of plastic backlighted public information panels (for LED sources) - Lighting calculations, with the tool Dialux, to design LED lighting for indoor workplace - Use of AutoCad 2D, for simple optical drawings and TracePro for raytracing - basic use of ProE, Rhinoceros and Scilab - photometry and radiometry, use of optical instrumentation - use of virtualization tool VMware - reporting - presentation of the working done by L.U.C.I. Srl in the experimental project Easymob at several conferences

- Contribute to simulating of optical components via raytracing software - verification of optical drawing requirements - check and measure of many optical groups as for example lenses - Use of TracePro and Zemax (basic)
