After leaving Siemens I owned and operated a retail business. I provided services to customers, property management agencies, contractors, architects, designers and realtors in the area. I managed 6 employees, sales and finances, and negotiated ordering and contracting with vendors. I helped design customers remolding projects, gave them advice on what contractors and/or designer they could use and taught them how to care for their new product(s). As a manger of Renaissance, I learn to use Quickbooks Professional for not only processing customer's and vendor orders, but for controlling our inventory, staffing (HR) and processing payrolls for 6 people.
