Renewable Energy Management Bureau - Solar and Wind Energy Management Division - Evaluate and processes RE Applications, RE Projects for Own-Use, Declaration of Commerciality, Assignment/Transfer of RE Contracts, Conversion of RE Contracts, RE Contract proposed amendments, reinstatement of RE Contracts, endorsement to other concerned NGAs and LGUs, System Impact Study, Certificate of Endorsement requests, Safety Officer’s Permits, Manufacturer, Fabricator and Supplier of Locally Produced RE Equipment - Assess and monitor the implementation/development of RE Contracts - Provides support to various RE Policy Mechanism GEOP, GEAP, RETF, RPS, NREP, Omnibus guidelines, RESHERR, Net-metering, etc. - Reviews/Comments Omnibus Guidelines/EVOSS system - Presents during IEC for Net Metering - Provides support to Committees/TWGs - Provides support to DREAMS Project

• Inspects and evaluates new deliveries of materials and equipment • Assesses risk in the acceptance of Substation and Line Equipment and Sub-transmission and Distribution (ST&D) materials relative to urgency of project item requirements • Tests the delivered line materials and equipment • Conducts factory acceptance tests • Conducts quality inspection at plants, and technical evaluation during fabrication • Dispatches and accepts inspection lot assignment to Materials Quality Assurance staff • Conducts quality inspection/testing, technical evaluation, and acceptance of pre-production samples • Conducts evaluation of the suppliers’/manufacturers’ quality performance • Conducts Quality/Spot audit of stored materials at all company warehouse (technical aspects and requirements on storage, handling maintenance) • Performs quality evaluation of rejected items, rehabilitated/ reconditioned items, and items for disposal • Develops and maintains quality control and quality audit procedures • Provides technical support in vendor performance accreditation
