Focusing on global economics, socio-economic-political structures, and human trafficking in the Balkans and Newly Independent States, I applied this expertise to a comparative anthropological analysis of Bosnia pre-and-post war. Studying Bosniaks and Serbs, the two dominant ethnic groups. I traveled to the region twice for field work which included in-depth interviews with members of both ethnic groups as well as members of the international community working to implement the peace-achieving Dayton Accords.
