Responsible for an enterprise network using Cisco routers (2800,2900), switches (3760's, 4500's), firewalls (ASA 5520/5540's/SSM-20 IDS/IPS') and wireless (multiple WAPs). Local network has a multi-vendor equipment implementation (Dell/Adtran). Monitoring over 200 physical and virtual servers using Kaseya and Orion Solarwinds software. Server network consists of multiple Windows 2003/2008, Red Hat Linux and VMWare ESX servers.

Provided network engineering support for multiple technology based environment including but not limited to WAN design and router configuration, LAN design and switch configuration, VOIP integration with installation and troubleshooting for the nationwide and European network. Network consists entirely of Cisco 3700/7500 series routers and Catalyst 3500/4500/6500 series switches. WAN connection technologies supported consist of Frame Relay circuits, T1 links, MPLS & PRI backup links. LAN configurations include 802.1Q trunking, multiple vlan s, PIX firewall integration and updates.

Supporting selected government accounts with networking expertise including WAN, MAN, LAN and Security product experience. Focusing on government backbone requirements utilizing Cisco core routing and switching products. Products currently utilized include but are not limited to ONS 15454, ONS 15310, Nexus 7000/7700, 5000 series, ISR/ASR's, 7200 series routers, 4500E & 6500E series switches, ASA's and additional Cisco products as determined. Assisting in the building and turn up of a DWDM/MSTP core and SONET/MSPP services ring to provide expanded and scalable bandwidth while producing cost saving to the DOS.
